Cotton color catalog as Pantone colors
We found the following Pantone colors to be the best match with Pantone colors using color measuring devices and subsequent manual checking in daylight. Please note that the display of the colors on the screen may differ from the actual colors. The best representation is therefore only available through the physical Pantone fan Solid Coated or Solid Uncoated. Since fabric reflects light differently than printed paper, a 100% comparison is not possible. However, the deviations are so small that they can only be seen by looking closely and comparing. We did not find a match for a few colors or the color difference was too great.

Information about color matching
This is how we determine the right yarn colors

We are bound to a color catalog and select the most similar colors to your reference colors through a digital comparison on the screen. If there is no clear color selection, we convert the colors into Pantone color values and compare the physical yarn colors with a physical Pantone fan.
The RGB, CMYK color spaces and the yarn colors are not directly comparable with each other because they are different physical conditions. RGB colors are created by light, while printed matter and textiles consist of physical matter whose color only becomes visible through external light. Therefore, for comparison, colors must always be converted into a physical color system. The Pantone color system is the most common, so we rely on this color system.
You can aso tell us Pantone or HKS colors, which we can then compare directly with the yarn colors.
There is no exact color for every shade of yarn color, as the selection is limited to the color catalog shown above. However, if necessary, we can send you photos next to your target Pantone color so that the extent of any deviation becomes visible.
If a clear selection cannot be made even then, you can receive color samples of the cotton colors from us by post and then select the color based on the samples.

Color matching of labels / banderoles and socks
A certain deviation in the colors between the yarn and the printed product for packaging (labels, banderoles or folding boxes) must be accepted, as these are different media and color spaces and the yarn colors are based on a color catalog with approx. 208 cotton yarns and 100 Polyamide yarns. A process of production tests, their evaluation and new production is not part of our service and would not be economically feasible. Since the yarn colors are fixed, the printing color can only be adjusted to the CMYK value of the Pantone color value of the yarn, but not the other way around.
