Sports Socks – Features and Customization Options
On this page you can see our sports socks in detail and find out which aspects can all be customized.
Socks with logo
Socks with logos are a way to make a fashion statement or to promote a company or organization.

Sports cuff
The ribbed sports waistband is an elastic waistband that usually sits at the top of the sock and ensures a secure hold. The ribs in the waistband are designed to fit snugly against the leg and prevent the sock from slipping. The ribbed sports waistband is particularly common in sports socks because it ensures a secure hold even during intense physical activity. The sports waistband is a standard feature of our sports socks.

Striped design
Stripes are a popular design element, especially in sports socks. But they can also be used in other socks. They give the socks a modern look. Of course, there are also sports socks without stripes. So it is simply a matter of taste whether you prefer sports socks or cotton socks with or without stripes.
Whether the sock will have stripes or not is your free decision and will be taken into account in the design draft.

Socks with mirrored logo
There are also sock designs where, for example, a logo should only be visible once on each sock because it is very large, or there is one logo on the outside and another logo on the inside of a sock. This design is then mirrored so that it is symmetrical when the socks are worn. This means that the same logo is on the inside of the leg and the outside of the leg.

Designing the sole
It is possible to design the sole of socks. The sole offers a lot of space and is a good place to display slogans, larger logos or illustrations. It is also possible to distribute the communication message across both soles.

Color the waistband, heel and toe
The waistband, toe and heel can each be designed in their own color, which makes these areas stand out visually from the rest of the sock.

Rice Pattern / Rice Grain Pattern
The rice grain pattern is a knitting pattern that can be used in the production of socks. It is a simple knitting pattern that is created by alternating right and left stitches. It creates a texture that is reminiscent of rice grains. The rice grain pattern results in a slightly sharper look in sports socks in the ribbed area, as the ribs are interrupted by the rice grain pattern. The motifs are thus woven on a “straight” surface and have no differences in height.
As a standard, production decides which process is best suited for the respective motif.

Full Terry or Half Terry
Terry is a material used in socks to provide extra cushioning and comfort. It is a cotton fabric that is woven into the inside of the sock.
Full Terry sports socks
Full Terry socks have full terry padding that extends across the entire sock. This type of sock is ideal for winter or activities where extra padding is needed. As standard, we make the socks with Full Terry.

Half-Terry sports socks
Half terry socks only have terry padding on the bottom of the sock, while the top part of the sock is usually made of a thinner material. This type of sock is ideal for everyday use or for sporting activities where extra padding is not required.

Designing the sock cuff
The sock cuff is the upper edge of a sock, also known as the cuff or waistband. It gives the sock a stable, yet flexible edge to prevent the sock from slipping or rolling off.
The waistband can have different knitting patterns, be of different heights, be colored and also contain simple motifs or texts.

Dnti-slip socks
Anti-slip coating
The coating itself is transparent, grey or black as standard. The pattern of the coating consists of regular or irregular dots.

Anti-Slip coating with logo
For larger runs of around 500 pairs or more, custom shapes and colors for the anti-slip coating are also possible. This involves costs of €250 per size for a mold.
